As a Graphics SME at General Motors I have created & led multiple North American and global process developments, I managed workload planning & strategies, and I mentored teams in best practices & regulations for automotive graphics. I represent the United States as a global expert in both ANSI and SAE that support ISO/TC 22/SC 39/WG5 Road Vehicles, developing iconography to be considered for international use and global regulations.
Outside of work I mentored at risk Community High School Students with Winning Futures and was awarded Mentor of the Year in 2008 by Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. I travel every opportunity I can. I love old cars and currently have a 1956 Ford Thunderbird. I volunteer to do STEM events and have supported GM with The Girl Scouts “STEAM” events to outline careers in art and design. I’m a watch aficionado. I’m a founding member of Savannah Professional Women for Good. I try to read 2 books a week. I have a blast training and working with my GSD Remington. I collect sneakers. And last but certainly not least, I have an awesome husband and we will be celebrating our our 27th wedding anniversary this year.
