Represent the United States as global expert in both ANSI and SAE US Tags that support ISO/TC 22/SC 39/WG5 Road Vehicles. Propose and develop iconography to be considered for international use and global regulations. Assist ISO Chair in maintaining meeting structure and provide meeting minutes.
Promote development of ISO standards and strategy by attending ISO technical meetings.

Modernized the component graphic process by bringing in new 3d tools to the pipeline allowing graphics to be projected on surface. Increased efficiency to designers and downstream suppliers. Reduction of rework, change requests, and tool changes. Estimated $1.25 million in savings over initial 3 year period.
Collaborated with design, engineering, and business teams to create a new process and align component graphic releases to GDVP (global development vehicle process). Detailed the design process, organized the deliverables, and adapted deliverable schedule to enable the integration of graphics released in TcAE. Proven annual savings of $250,000 from Design Center budget. Nominated for GM’s Chairman Honor Award.
Led team of experts to incorporate HMI UI graphics into TcAE, General Motor’s release respository. Directly responsbile for organizing timing input, testing, and developed training materials for designers and suppliers. Pushed software developers to enable any file format to be accepted into TcAE.
Mentor of the Year awarded by Governor Jennifer Granholm for my work with Winning Futures. Winning Futures is a nationally recognized and award-winning mentoring organization that empowers high school students to succeed.

SME (subject matter expert) & Graphics Lead for GM components. Responsible for leading all programs being developed in North America. Collaborated with stakeholders across functions to apply feedback to design for the customer, led internal team, and interfaced with external vendors to assure design excellence. Organized a deliverable schedule for internal team, mentored best practices, and managed graphic layout strategies. Over 7000 graphic variants released on time without defects.
Led study to determine aesthetically correct line thickness for day and nighttime lit graphics on components. Redesigned graphic line thicknesses and created graphic library for all assets to be shared between all brands. Implemented updated strategy on all programs MY19+.
Due to global regional shared workload, collaborated with global partners to create a holistic design experience for Buick brand graphic deliverables. Met weekly with global partners to promote synergy between teams for Buick branded harmony.
Created a process to reduce complexity by sharing one font between brands. Allowed parts sharing, reduced tooling, and reduction of supplier mistakes.

Collaborated with icon team and downstream users to create icon process by organizing icon requests, timing, workload planning, and deliverable structure. Managed workload for team’s 9 branded icon sets and was responsible for development for 3 brands. Created an icon bible for downstream users that organized the icons by domain and brands. Guided and mentored interdisciplinary team on icon regulations and best practices.
Created cluster design training material and mentored cluster designers on best practices for spanning speedos and tachometers.

For the Component Graphics Team I tracked all program timing and managed the workload. Maintained a excel document for each designer outlining their delegated program dates that aligned with when deliverables were due. Held weekly reviews to identify any issues that needed escalation or review.
For Next Gen UI communicated timing for all release gates for 9 different brand themes to the graphic design team, prioritizing brands that launched first. Managed stakeholders across 4 organizations to apply feedback to design for the customer. Implemented an excel document to organize all branded assets by screen (5000+ assets); detailed asset name, date released, size of asset and an image for overall screen. Excel document was crucial for designers and downstream users to highlight missing content in software. Hosted weekly meetings with design team to outline any issues and to reiterate deliverable timing. Released scheduled deliverables in TcAE repository.

Responsible for all UI assets for MY23 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. Managed offshore graphic UI team, provided workload deliverable schedules, organized domain kanbans to track all oustanding/late tickets from software, and developed a process to provide released assets. Sucessessfully delivered 54 domains for 2 themes in 7 months for 80% software build. Completed all outstanding tickets before hand off to Launch Readiness.
Led Entry Nav execution for Buick, Chevrolet, and GMC themes. Delivered all preblended assets for 3 brands (4,500+ assets per brand). Created a detailed file layout that standardized organization in UX files for shared layouts.
